(ZIZ News) — The country’s Education Minister has praised the work of one of the leading academic institutions, the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College [CFBC].
Speaking at the 27th Commencement Ceremony this week, the Hon. Shawn Richards said CFBC prepares students to be successful.
“I am proud and confident that the graduands would have received a quality education here at CFBC,” he said, adding that “As they venture out into the next phase of their lives, I know that they have been adequately prepared to be good, productive citizens.”
The 2015 graduating class featured students from the divisions of Adult and Continuing Education; Arts, Science and General Studies; Health Sciences; Teacher Education; and Technical and Vocational Education and Management Studies.
Minister Richards said that was a positive indicator for the Federation’s future.
“When I look at the faces of all of the graduands seated here before me, I see the potential of a Federation on the move: aspiring engineers, scientists, entrepreneurs and maybe the next Minister of Education, Youth, Sports and Culture,” he said.
