Education Officers relocate to Stanford building

St. Kitts, (EMU): Offices located on the ground floor of the Ministry of Education building on Church Street will be relocated to the Stanford Building next to the RLB International Airport as of Monday March 24.

The move includes the offices of the Chief Education Officer, Education
Officers, the Examinations Officer and the administrative staff. Also moving to the Stanford Building are the offices of the Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Secretariat presently located at the Annex on Cayon Street.

Education Units remaining at their current locations include the offices of the Minister of Education and Information Hon. Nigel Carty, Permanent Secretary of Education Mrs. Ionie Liburd Willett and Personnel Officer Ms. Blondell Franks as well as The UNESCO Secretariat. Also remaining in their current locations are the Student Education Leaning Fund (SELF) and the Education Media Unit (EMU).

Chief Education Officer Ms Clarice Cotton said the move is to accommodate Education officers, administrative staff, other officers of the Ministry of Education and the public in a more customer friendly and aesthetically pleasing location.
