Falling Debris Along Old Road Bay

(ZIZ News) – The police are warning drivers about debris that has been falling onto the street along Old Road Bay.

Police Public Relations Officer, Inspector Lyndon David said they received the call about the debris at about 9 a.m. on Thursday and he is warning drivers to be cautious in that area.

“A particular section of the road has a pileup of dirt in the road, and we’re currently advising motorists to drive cautiously and carefully along Old road bay. Police officers have placed cones in the road and we expect shortly that men from the Public Works will be there removing the dirt that has fallen into the road,” the police inspector noted.

He said this tends to happen when there is heavy rain but there have been no reports of injuries or vehicular damage.
