Basseterre, St. Kitts, October 18, 2019 (ZIZ News): In observance of Credit Union Day on October 17th, the First Federal Credit Union hosted a financial wellness fair at its parking lot at Bladens Commercial Development on Thursday.
Members of the public were offered free health checks by doctors and health practitioners on site and as an added bonus, free financial advice was also offered to interested persons.
Organizations and individuals partnering with First Federal Credit Union included the St. Kitts Diabetes Association, 869-Accxess Services, Emerald Health Care, Dr Rozella Stanley and Dr Melissa Cable and nurses from the Ministry of Health.
The Financial Wellness Fair was hosted as part of activities to commemorate Credit Union Week with runs from October 13th to 19th, under the theme “Local Service; Global Reach”.
