Basseterre, St. Kitts, March 15, 2022 (ZIZ) — With the acquisition of modern fire equipment, the Fire and Rescue Services Department is better prepared to handle chemical fires.
This according to Fire Sub Station Rommel Williams who said with modernized equipment the technology has improved and offers more appropriate means to handle chemical fires.
Williams said the fire officers’ protective wear is much more advanced as well.
