First sitting of Parliament
Basseterre, St. Kitts, July 2, 2020 (ZIZ): Governor General His Excellency Sir S. W. Tapley Seaton GCMG CVO QC JP has issued a proclamation announcing the first sitting of parliament in the new term of the Team Unity Administration.According to the proclamation the sitting will be held on Wednesday 8th July, at 10 am at the St. Kitts Marriot Resort for the dispatch of public businesses.
According to a statement out of Government Headquarters,The Order Paper will be provided shortly and will include the Election of Speaker, Oath/Affirmation of Allegiance by Members and the Throne Speech.
National Assembly will be carried live on ZIZ Radio (96 FM) and participating radio stations.
It can also be viewed live on TV Channel 5 in St. Kitts and Channel 98 in Nevis. It will also be streamed live at www.zizonline.com and the ZIZ Youtube and Facebook Pages.
