ZIZ News…June 3rd, 2013 — A Senior Water Official says Homeowners can get big savings on their water bills with small steps.

Assistant Water Engineer, Dr Halla Sahely told ZIZ that when it comes to wasting water one of the biggest culprits is a leaky toilet.

She also explained how to find a slower silent leak.

She says the mechanism in the toilet tank usually fails quickly so it often needs replacing, so if you notice a jump in your water bill the first place to check is the toilet.
