Former parliamentarian hosts more than 100 students

Basseterre, St. Kitts, January 30, 2020 (ZIZ News): More than 100 students from the Dr. William Connor Primary School were treated by Former Cabinet Member, Richard Caines on Thursday at the old Youth Skills Building.

The students enjoyed rides, board games and lunch.

Minister of Education, the Hon. Shawn Richards was also in attendance and while addressing the students he explained that it’s through persons like Mr. Caines that the Federation is able to do more for its students.

The Governor General Sir. S.W Tapley Seaton GCMG CVO QC JP LLD encouraged the students to study hard and listen to their teachers.

Mr. Caines thanked the children for attending and commented on the number of students who came.

This event is one of a number of activities initiated by Mr. Richard Caines after adopting the school in 2017.
