Former Students Give Back To CHS

(ZIZ News) — Several former students of the Cayon High School reunited, this week, and participated in their former school’s General Assembly on Monday morning.

Prime Minister, the Hon. Dr. Timothy Harris, a former Cayon High student, praised the reunion group for giving back to their Alma Mater.

“I believe it is a very good feeling and experience when students return to their Alma Mater and they come to say “we appreciate what the CHS has done for us and our families and the contributions which this, the best school in Northeastern St. Christopher, is making to the lives of all,” he said.

Sylvester Belle, a member of the graduating class of 1982, presented an audio system to the school on behalf of the group.

“On behalf of 1982 Class Reunion Group, we would like to present this entire audio system. We know this is something that has been lacking in your daily activities, so we’d like to present this to you. We hope you appreciate it,” he said.

The group also plans to honour long serving teachers at Cayon High at an upcoming banquet.
