Fundraiser for Shaniece Nanhoe
Basseterre, St. Kitts, November 28, 2019 (ZIZ News): The family and friends of 14 year old Shaniece Nanhoe who was diagnosed with a facial tumor earlier this year will be hosting another fundraising event to assist with her ongoing treatment overseas.
In August 2019, Shaniece showed signs of a facial tumor which has since been diagnosed as stage 3 rms, a rare and a very aggressive type of cancer.
In an update on its official Facebook page, the Pediatric Assistance League said “she is currently overseas undergoing chemotherapy and responding well to it. It is a long road to recovery for Shaniece but she is a fighter with a positive attitude even through difficult times.”
The statement said “PALS and Shaniece’s family are extremely grateful for the overwhelming community support and prayers for young Shaniece.”
On Saturday at noon, a fundraising luncheon will be held at Bassy’s Tyre World at Canada Estate. A donation box will also be there for persons wishing to contribute further.
