“Get Vaccinated For Sugar Mas”

Basseterre, St. Kitts, March 15th,  2021 (ZIZ News) The National Carnival Committee is lending its voice to the call for persons to get vaccinated.

The committee has produced a PSA where various Sugar Mas personalities are encouraging persons to get the vaccine to prepare for Sugar Mas 50 later this year.

The video showcases musicians, DJ’s, The Mansion Bull, Soca artists among others all encouraging the public to get vaccinated and prepare for Sugar Mas 50.

It also included footage of many of the participants getting their vaccine as a demonstration of their willingness to help stop the spread of Covid-19

Carnival Committee Chair Shannon Hawley was among the first groups of persons to get the vaccine and her own personal testimonial and call for others to get vaccinated can be seen on the Health Promotion Unit’s Facebook page.
