Government pledges continued support of the Manufacturing Sector

(ZIZ News) — The government of St. Kitts and Nevis is pledging its full support to the manufacturing sector. So says Labour Minister, Hon. Patrice Nisbett.

The assurance came during the Manufacturing Awareness Week of celebrations, held under the theme “Manufacturing the Pathway to National Growth.

According to Minister Nisbett, the government will continue to provide the necessary support needed to ensure the success of the sector.

He said, “The government of St. Kitts and Nevis continues to work very closely with the manufacturing sector by providing all the technical and financial support possible to ensure that the sector continues to become competitive and remains a major employer to top quality workers.”

He continued, “The government is committed to work diligently with the sector, with the support of the staff of the Ministry of International Trade, Industry, Commerce, and Consumer Affairs to ensure that the manufacturing sector is a major beacon in the growth of the federation and as a team, we will continue to be successful in doing that.”

Manufacturing Awareness Week took place from October 3rd to 11th.
