Governor General Meets with ZIZ

(ZIZ News) — On Friday morning a delegation made up of members of the Board of the Directors of ZIZ Broadcasting Corporation, managers and staff met with Governor General His Excellency sir S.W. Tapley Seaton CVO, QC, JP.

His Excellency took the opportunity to formally introduce himself to the new Board and commented on the new developments at ZBC.

The Governor General commended ZBC on launching its 24 hour programming and expressed his willingness to partner with ZIZ in producing future content.

He said his office wishes to be open and accessible to the media and spoke of possible collaborations in the future.

Among those in attendance were Chairman of the ZBC Board, Douglas Wattley, Deputy Chair Avenice Thompson, Board Member, Lester Hanley, ZIZ Acting General Manager, Vere Galloway, Manager of Broadcast Services, Cherryl Ward, manager of Knowledge Management Division, Jason Davis, and News Anchor Karla Berridge.
