Sports Page — Manager of the Titans track club on Nevis, Timothy Caines has indicated that the general public on the island is in for a rare treat today-Friday August 1st as the A1Technology/Titans C-40 Track and field meet is hosted at the ET Willet Park.

The event will commence at 2 pm and will feature some of the top athletes in St.Kitts and Nevis in the male and female categories in the following events: 100; 200; 400; 800 and 100 meters, along with relays.

There will be a youth category for athletes under age 14; a junior’s category for athletes under 18 and a senior’s category for athletes over 18.

There will be a $5.00 charge at the gate which goes towards the club’s future activities which includes proposed trips to competitions overseas.

Caines thanked main sponsors Mackay and Fayola Tross of A1 Technology; The Four Seasons Resort; The Nevis Housing and Land Corporation and the Ministry of Sports, for helping to make the meet a reality.
