Sports Page — The series of matches between the Nevis Grass Roots team and the Nevis Development team, continued on Saturday 21st February at the ET Willet Park.
The Nevis Development team was leading the series 1 game to nil.
The Grass roots team batted first and scored 127 for 7 from their allotted 25 overs with Jamie Cornelius top scoring with 35; Kezron Archibald got 30 and Shevon Jeffers 18.
Theron Bussue got 3 for 18, with Zavero Forbes and Ozeal Collins getting 1 wicket each.
The Development team in response, could only muster 102 all out in 22 overs.
Shelton Forbes top scored with 30 and Ozeal Collins scored 18*.
Marcus Dubbery got 2 for 12; Philo Wallace 2 for 15, while Kezron Archibald, Bartlette and Balgobin, all got 1 wicket each.
The Grass roots team won by 25 runs and squared the series 1 game all.
