Hamilton solutions being sought for water issues in his constituency

Basseterre, St. Kitts, January 28, 2020 (ZIZ News): Parliamentary representative for constituency number 8 the Hon Eugene Hamilton says the government has taken steps to tackle the water supply issues in his area and are specifically looking at desalination, or extracting drinking water from sea water.

He made the comment during a recent interview with Open Interactive.

Minister Hamilton said while the water supply has been a long standing concern in his area for years this past year was particularly bad due to low rainfall.

He said he’s committed to finding a long term solution for his constituency by pursuing alternative supplies of water.
