Health Minister Thanks Mary Charles Hospital Staff for Service

(ZIZ News) — The country’s Health Minister, the Hon. Marcella Liburd, was among those present at Monday morning’s Annual Christmas Programme at the Mary Charles Hospital.

Minister Liburd, who delivered brief remarks, used the opportunity to comment on the invaluable service that the institution’s staff offers.

“My responsibilities as minister provide me with a very keen sense of how very important Mary Charles is to the people of this area and what a priceless service the doctors, nurses, nursing attendants and assistants, the cooks, the laundry staff, the maids, the orderlies and other healthcare providers here at Mary Charles offer so faithfully on a daily basis,” she said.

The minister then offered words of gratitude to the staff.

“Thank you, thank you, thank you for all that you do at this Christmas season and always for all that you do for our nationals and residents of the federation and for visitors to our federation.”

Acting Director of Health Institutions Ms. Lornette Adams, Director of Institutional Nursing Services Sonia Daly-Finley, and Assistant Director of Institutional Nursing Services Miranda Langley were among the other dignitaries present.
