Horse Racing: Easter meet definitely on
Word coming out of the Nevis Turf and Jockey Club has indicated that the annual Easter horse race meet is definitely on.
The race meet is set for Sunday 20th April with the gates swinging open at 1 pm and the first race set to bolt off at 3pm.
Up to press time there was no confirmed word as to whether or not the renowned Mr. BIG PEPE has recovered sufficiently to compete.
The outstanding horse has missed a few meets due to illness.
There will be the usual musical entertainment and food and drink in galore.
