Human Remains Found
Basseterre St. Kitts — On Friday 21st February 2014, Detectives of the Violent Crime Unit (VCU) and Criminal Investigations Department (CID), the K9 Unit, and other police officers visited the Nevis Island Government Quarry as a result of the discovery of human remains.
Initial investigation revealed that about 9:15 am a resident was in the area when he discovered the body and notified the police. An autopsy will be conducted to establish the exact cause of the death. The human remains were later identified as that of Carlisle Hobson of Webb’s Ground.
