Hundreds turn out for one on one consultation with PM Harris

Basseterre, St. Kitts, March 6, 2020 (ZIZ News): A large number of residents and citizens from Constituency #6 were seen in attendance at a One on One Consultation with Prime Minister Dr. Hon. Timothy Harris at the Saddlers Primary School on Wednesday evening.

Prime Minister Harris said he was pleased to see the many persons who showed up even considering the short notice.

He commended the many visitors from Constituency #6 for attending the meeting and explained how essential it was for him to host the consultation. He also expressed the need to reassure members of the Constituency of his government’s commitment to provide service to everyone.

Dr. Harris said he was also pleased to see persons from all of the villages in Constituency #6 at the Consultation.

He said, “I want to commend persons from all communities in Constituency Number Six, stretching from Saddlers to Dieppe Bay, Parsons to Newton Ground and Harris”.

At the end of the sessions The Prime Minister announced that another One one One Consultation will be held at the Saddlers Primary School on Saturday from 10am-12pm to allow persons the opportunity to sit and speak with the Prime Minister.

“Out of respect for efforts you made, I have determined that we will have a second consultation, only for those who are here,” Prime Minister Harris told those who did not have the chance to see him. “In other words the Secretariat will have the names and so we will try to work with them on Saturday between 10:00 am and 12:00 noon, first come first served.”

The consultation which began at 4:30 pm was scheduled to wrap up at 7 but instead ended at 8:30 pm due to the large turnout.
