IMF Representatives Tour St. Kitts

(ZIZ News) — Representatives of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) are currently in St. Kitts to participate in two days of meetings.

Deputy Managing Director of the I.M.F., Min Zhu, was among those who toured St. Kitts throughout the day on Wednesday, visiting several institutions along the way.

The first stop was the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College where Zhu interacted with the students present.

He also visited Kajola Kristada and toured the facilities, after a lengthy discussion on manufacturing.

Kittitian Hill’s Belmont Farm was another stop along the way and they were given a tour by founder, Val Kempadoo.

The group was also joined by Prime Minister, the Hon. Dr. Timothy Harris.

St. Kitts- Nevis Carib Brewery Limited was another stop on the tour.

The journey subsequently continued on to Nevis for a tour of the island and operational businesses.

St. Kitts and Nevis joined the I.M.F. on August 15th 1984.
