Immaculate Conception Catholic School to hold 1st Annual Catholic Schools Week

ZIZ News…Jan 24, 2013 — The Immaculate Conception Catholic School would like to announce the celebration of its first annual Catholic Schools Week. Catholic Schools Week is a celebration in which Catholic Schools host special Masses, open houses and other activities for students, families, parishioners and the community at large.

The theme this year is “Catholic Schools Raise the Standards.” The administration and staff of ICCS believe that we are doing just that, raising and setting standards in academics as well as instilling Christian Values in our students. As many are aware ICCS has been given an amazing gift in terms of our facilities that are visible to all that pass across George Street, but what you can’t see, and what is even more important, is what is actually going on within the walls of our school.

To that end, we extend an invitation to the community to visit us here at ICCS during Catholic Schools Week. This week will take place from January 28 – February 1. There are days designated for all members of our community and on those days we invite you to join us for an Open House so you can tour our facilities and visit our classrooms.
