Immigration Regularization Deadline Set for May 1

Basseterre — Authorities are urging persons living in St. Kitts and Nevis without legal status to regularize their immigration status before the May 1 deadline.

The Ministry of National Security, Citizenship and Immigration says the Special Immigration Order 2025 will end on May 1.

Individuals who have not yet completed the process are encouraged to do so immediately. Those who have started applications but still owe fees are reminded to settle their balances and finalise their submissions.

Officials have warned that persons who fail to regularize by the deadline could face enforcement action under the country’s immigration laws.

The ministry is asking everyone affected to act quickly to avoid any disruption to their legal stay in the Federation.

This final window provides an important opportunity for individuals and families to bring their status into full compliance and continue living and working lawfully in St. Kitts and Nevis.

Residents requiring assistance or further information are advised to contact the Ministry of National Security, Citizenship and Immigration without delay.
