Independence Slogan Competition Open

Basseterre, St. Kitts, June 5, 2019 (ZIZ News): The National Independence Theme Competition is now open.

Everyone is invited to submit entries of what they think should be the guiding theme for the 36th observance of the federation’s Independence celebrations.

The management and coordination of the 2019 Independence theme/ slogan competition is the responsibility of the Ministry of Education.

As such, Senior Assistant Secretary in the Ministry of Education Dorothy Warner outlined the guidelines for the consideration and action of potential entrants of the competition.

A maximum of two submissions will be accepted from each entrant.

Ms. Warner said these can be emailed, mailed or delivered to Government Headquarters.

Members of the independence committee, its subcommittees and government ministers are not eligible for the submission of entries.

The deadline for submissions of potential themes for the 36th Independence celebrations is Friday 21st June.
