Basseterre, St. Kitts, July 22, 2019 (ZIZ News): The 2019 St. Kitts Nevis Anguilla National Bank New Attitude Basketball League came to an end over the weekend with two new champions.
On Saturday Youth and Sports Eagles of Nevis defeated ASC Jay Hawks 89 to 83 which earned them the A Division Champs title for 2019.
For Eagles, Craig Angol made 27 points, Trevorn Simmonds 13 points, Gassano Barry 10 points, 26 rebounds and 2 blocks. For Jay Hawks, Ranier Richardson made 27 points, 4 rebounds and 5 steals, Cheslyn Hutton scored 18 points, made 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals.
Meanwhile, on Sunday July 21 2019, Inner City Conquerors defeated St. Pauls Tuff Knotts 72 to 58, which earned them the 2019 Premier Division Championship.
Inner City Was led by Troy Wattley with 21 points, 12 rebounds and 2 steals, Livan Lee scored 19points, made 12 rebounds, 2 blocks, Tambora Caines made14 points ,3 assists and 5 steals.
For Tuff Knotts, Nashorn Maynard scored 16 points, made 24 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 blocks, Demaine Rawlins made 11 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals while Clayton Powell scored 11 points, made 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals.
