Irishtown Primary Receives School Supplies From Reneee Clarke

The Irishtown Primary School received various types of school supplies courtesy of a daughter of the soil, Renee Clarke on Wednesday.

Clarke, who is national living in New York, organized a fundraiser on her Facebook page that encouraged persons to donate supplies for both teachers and students in St. Kitts.

Representatives from the various schools were asked to send their information along with their individual needs in order to be selected. The Irishtown Primary School was the recipient of the 2 barrels of supplies totalling US$500.

Head Teacher at the Irishtown Primary School, Avonelle Carey Fraites thanked Miss Clarke for her generous donation.

“We are here to say thank you to Ms. Renee Clarke-Roland for giving us gifts for the school. She has given us a plethora of school supplies which there are some on the table here, the children are doing their bits with some of them and we definitely want to say a heartfelt thank you to Ms Clarke because we are indeed grateful for these gifts which she has bestowed on us”, Carey-Fraites expressed.

The donation comprised folder sheets, latex free eraser caps, pencil cases, coloured pencils, multi pack highlighters, packs of anti-dust chalk, board erasers and scissors with storage racks
