Job Vacancy: Chief Veterinary Officer

The Human Resource Management Department on behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture et al invites applications from suitably qualified individuals to fill the post of Chief Veterinary Officer

The successful candidate is required to monitor the animal population for the presence of zoonosis, test the livestock population, conduct investigations of animal disease outbreaks, carry out disease surveillance, organize departmental workshops and more.

Candidates must be between 35 to 40-year-old, possess a degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and have at least three to five years of working experience.

Applications must be accompanied by a resume or curriculum vitae, the names and contact information of two references, and certified copies of certificates and sent to Chief Personnel Officer, Human Resource Management Department, Church Street, Basseterre, St. Kitts.
