New Horizon Rehabilitation Centre at Harris’ St. Kitts

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, SEPTEMBER 26TH 2012 (CUOPM) – A House Mother or House Father, a nurse practitioner and cooks are needed for the soon to be opened New Horizon Rehabiliation Centre at Harris’.

Permanent Secretary in the Ministry Community Development, Culture and Gender Affairs, Ms. Sharon Rattan said the ministry is continuing the process of staffing the New Horizon Rehabilitation Centre and has issued invitations to interested persons to apply for the position mentioned.

“The House Mother/Father will oversee the day-to day activities of the centre, closely monitor the children and maintain records of all incidents and events in accordance with the policy and standards. The personal health and hygiene of the children will be a daily responsibility,” said Ms. Rattan.

She added that the House Mother or House Father will also provide supervision for the culinary activities including the acquisition of groceries and closely monitor children and maintain records of all incidents and events in accordance with the policy and standards.
