Jump rope for heart program a success

Ms Shawna Thomas of the Caribbean Sports and Development Agency conducted a one day workshop which focused on the Jump for heart program for Coaches and PE teachers across the island of Nevis.

The workshop was conducted at the St. Paul’s Anglican Church hall and ran for the entire day.

Ms Thomas deemed the exercise a huge success and noted that the twenty plus participants were all enthused and indicated that they are now fully trained to take the program to their various schools.

The workshop got underway with an official opening ceremony and ended with a presentation of skipping ropes; various balls and other sporting equipment to the schools.
