Karaoke night at Bobsy’s gets flavoured with rich Music Festival vibes

FRIGATE BAY, ST.KITTS (THURSDAY, 26TH MAY): The hype and excitement of the upcoming 15th annual St. Kitts Music Festival was definitely in the air at Wednesday’s karaoke night at Bobsy’s Restaurant and Bar.

The event, which was put on by the St. Kitts Music Festival Local Promotions Committee, saw a night filled with laughter and fun as the team mingled with patrons including locals and the many residing university students, who were all excited about the upcoming event.

Bellowing karaoke selections were the Music Festival Girls as well as the Chairperson of the Local Promotion committee, Chazzette Mills.

Many of the songs by artistes scheduled to perform on this year’s 15th annual St. Kitts Music were included:Maxi Priest; UB40 and Fantasia.

There were two ticket giveaways done in the form of a musical challenge. The first challenge was to sing “Red Red Wine” by UB40 and was won by a Ross University student. The second was, “Truth is” by Fantasia and was won by a nursing student.

Karaoke, at Bobsy’s Bar and Grill, was one of the many promotional activities leading up to the staging of the 15th Annual St. Kitts Music Festival which is slated for June 23-25 at Warner Park.
