Keith Arthurton in Nevis Masters’ Squad

Former West Indies all rounder Keith Lloyd Thomas Arthurton has been included in the Nevis Masters’ Cricket squad for the upcoming annual Leeward Islands Masters’ tournament which is set to bowl off on Thursday 16th May in St. Kitts.

Born February 21, 1965, Arthurton became only the third player to hail from Nevis to play for the West Indies. The aggressive left handed batsman and left-arm unorthodox bowler played in 33 Tests between July 1988 and August 1995 and continued playing in one day matches until May 1999.

This is, however, the first time that Arthurton has made himself available for the Leeward Islands Masters’ tournament.

The full squad released by the Nevisian selectors on Tuesday 14th May is as follows:

The Nevis team is set to play two preliminary matches on Saturday18th May and will be hoping to qualify for the semis and grand finals set for Sunday 19th May.
