Kittitians in Paradise Association Donates to Moravian Senior Club

ZIZ News — The Kittitians in Paradise Association (KIPA) based in St Thomas donated a public address system and cordless microphone to the Moravian Senior Group on Tuesday morning at the Old Boys School on Victoria Road.

KIPA visited the group last year on their independence trip to the island and saw the need for the group to have a PA system.

Upon their return to St Thomas the group voted unanimously to make this donation to the senior group.

Vincent Liburd, president of KIPA, said that he was delighted to make the donation on behalf of his group.

“We are here this morning to make this presentation because we saw the need for the PA system for the senior club in St Kitts at this moment,” he said.

Chairperson of the fundraising committee, Rosalie Bedford, said that the group made the donation with love.

The Moravian group expressed gratitude to KIPA and presented a picture of themselves to the group.

The Kittitians in Paradise Association is comprised of nationals from the Federation who now live in St Thomas.

In the past KIPA has made monetary donations to the cancer society’s in St Kitts and Nevis.
