Latin Festival Press Conference
Basseterre, St. Kitts, August 28, 2019 (ZIZ News): Latin festival St. Kitts is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the hosting of Latin Fiesta in October of this year.
The festival’s committee hosted a press conference on Wednesday at The St. Kitts Marriott Resort to inform the public of the events and artistes that are scheduled to be a part of this year’s festival.
Chairman of Latin Festival Jose Rosa said there has been some confusion in understanding the difference between Latin Fiesta and Latin Festival.
He said Latin Festival takes pride in emphasizing a common link between all Caribbean countries and The Latin Americas.
Speaking on behalf of Minister of Tourism Hon. Lindsay Grant, Permanent Secretary in the ministry of tourism Carlene Henry Morton congratulated the festival’s organizers on the milestone
Latin festival will begin on October 21st with the screening of the movie “Casi Fiel” at Caribbean Cinemas.
The main event which is Latin Fiesta will take place on Sunday October 27th at the Frigate Bay lawn. Featured artistes for the event will include Pressure Buss Pipe, Marucci, Joe Veras, Dj Flames and El Alfa.
It will also feature a Kids Zone and the annual dance competition in which the winner receives a grand prize of one thousand us dollars.

The 10th anniversary celebration of Latin Fiesta takes place from October 21st to 27th 2019.
