Latin Festival Softball Tournament Underway

Basseterre, St. Kitts, October 2, 2019 (ZIZ News): As part of activities for Latin Festival 2019, a softball tournament is now underway.

7 teams are taking part made up of Latin members of the community including primarily Dominicana, Cubans, and Venezuelans.

There are 3 teams in Nevis: Los Bravos, Los Astros and Chamacos Barber Shop.

While St. Kitts has team Cuba, Los Chapeadores, Los Fuertes and Los Boris.

The games began on Sunday and will be held at the Newtown primary school field in St. Kitts and at CSS Villa Grounds in Charlestown Nevis.

All games begin at 10 am.

The semi-finals for St. Kitts and Nevis will be held on Sunday October 6, while the final game will be held on October 13 in St. Kitts.

The grand final will be held on October 13 at the Newtown primary school at 10 am.
