Leewards release team for first round of PCL

The Leeward Islands Cricket Association has released the name of the players for the first round match of the Professional Cricket League coordinated by the WICB.

The team is led by West Indies player, Devon Thomas and contains 5 Antiguans; 3 Kittitians; 4 Anguillans and 1 Montserratian.

It is noteworthy that Nevis was not able to field a single player in the lineup.

ST. JOHN’S, Antigua – The Leeward Islands selectors have named the following players for the first round of match against Guyana in the 2014/15 Professional Cricket League (PCL):

The Leeward Islands team will be looking to start its campaign on a positive note. Newly appointed captain Thomas said that he is “looking forward to the challenge” while remaining hopeful for the full support of his teammates.

The team management will comprise of Leroy Percival (Manager), Ridley Jacobs (Coach) while Masefield Nisbett will be the Trainer. The match will be played from 14th to 17th November, 2014 at the Providence Stadium in Guyana.
