Legends Cup To Kick Off This Weekend

Word received late last night, indicates that the 2013 edition of the Legend’s cup will kick off this weekend.

The management committee of the Nevis Football Association held an emergency meeting at the ET Willet Park and the main discussion centered around the standoff of certain teams which are questioning the legitimacy of the incumbent Association.

Certain decisions were made which includes a proposed meeting with the aggrieved parties, which will be convened shortly.

However, the on field action will commence with the participating teams which are: Stoney Grove Strikers; Hard Times; SL Horsfords Highlights; Nevis Equestrian Villa United; Stones United; Police and All stars.

The early games on the revised fixtures are as follows:

Saturday 31st August—Stones United v Hard Times

Sunday 1st September—Stoney Grove Strikers v SL Horsfords Highlights

Tuesday 3rd September—Police v All Stars

Matches are set to commence at 7pm nightly.
