Leo Club “Project Model”
The Basseterre Leo Club is on a mission to raise awareness about the historic sites and areas in St. Kitts and Nevis.
Among the efforts to do this was a recent competition called “Project Model”.
Leo Club treasurer, Maliek Gumbs told ZIZ that the goal was for the participants to recreate a model of a historic site set in a past era.
The site chose was independence square.
Jacinth Hunkins won 1st place in the competition with her outstanding attention to detail and composition of elements in her model. Charlvin Marks placed 2nd and Ackeem Liverpool placed 3rd
The Club also thanked sponsors of the program including TDC Group of companies, Epix, the Ministry of Archives and the National Museum for their cooperation and contributions.
