Sports Page — The grand finals for this year’s Leeward Islands senior Cricket Tournament will be held in Montserrat, starting tomorrow Thursday 16th October.
The finals in both the three day and one day formats will be played at the Little Bay Grounds.
This was confirmed on Tuesday by chief executive officer of the Leeward Islands Cricket Association, Mr. Derrick Nicholas.
Antigua and Barbuda will face off with Anguilla in the three day finals from Thursday 16th to Saturday 18th October and Antigua and Barbuda will take on St.Kitts in the one day finals on Sunday 19th October.
The Montserrat Cricket Association will be responsible for receiving the teams, umpires and selectors.
The Antigua and Barbuda team, along with the Anguilla team is set to arrive in Montserrat today Wednesday 15th October and the St.Kitts team is set to arrive there on Saturday 18th October.
It is understood that the umpires for the two matches, will be named shortly.
