LIME reconfirms its commitment with sponsorship for the 2013/14 Carnival Season

Basseterre St. Kitts – Telecommunication Provider LIME reconfirms its commitment to the preservation of the Federation’s cultural patrimony through the sustained development of National Carnival and its complementary activities at the official opening of Carnival held on Friday 22nd November 2013.

During the hand-over ceremony held on the Bay Road, Marketing Assistant, Ms. Sharisma Patrick presented LIME’s sponsorship cheque to the Minister of Culture, Hon. Marcella Liburd and National Carnival Chairman, Mr. Sylvester Anthony.

“We are very elated tonight to be a part of Sugar Mas 42 and LIME is here to support Carnival in every way. On behalf of the Management and Staff of LIME, we will like to present this cheque in the amount of EC $150, 000.00 to National Carnival” stated Ms. Patrick.

Chairman Anthony remarked that the National Carnival Committee has relied on LIME over the last three years for their financial support. He further stated that even in this difficult global economic crisis, National Carnival depends on the financial assistance from the Private and Public Sectors to make Carnival successful.

Mr. Anthony also made an appeal to other business entities to follow the example of

LIME as Carnival belongs to all of us.
