Man Arrested for Drive-by Shooting in Conaree

ZIZ News…Jan. 22, 2013 — Police are investigating a shooting incident at Conaree where no one was hurt.

At approximately 6:35 pm on Monday 21st January 2013, police responded to a report of gun shots heard in the Conaree area.

Eyewitnesses reported that a white motor car drove through the area discharging five shots from the car.

Based on eyewitness reports, a massive search was conducted island-wide for the perpetrator and the car was found along with the driver and taken into police custody by the joint security forces.

The Commissioner of Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force wishes to thank the general public for their quick assistance in reporting valuable information which lead to the speedy apprehension of the suspect.
