Man collapses, dies while playing football

Port of Spain, Trinidad (CMC) – An autopsy will be performed later Monday on the body of a 59 year-old game warden, who collapsed and died while playing a football game at Pointe-a-Pierre near Port of Spain over the weekend.

Police confirmed that Andrew George was participating in an over 45 football match at the Trinidad Cement Limited grounds Saturday evening, when the incident occurred.

They said paramedics attempted to revive him but were unsuccessful and that his body had been removed to the mortuary of the San Fernando General Hospital where an autopsy will take place later on Monday.
