Masquerade Performance Event

Several young performers got a chance to show of their skills on Sunday at a performance event organized by Valon’s Masquerades.

The show was the culmination of a training camp for the youth on the art of masquerade dance.

The programme included a drumming selection by the Okoloyouth Drummers and a brief history of the masquerades by Creighton Pencheon.

Following the performances, the camp participants were presented with certificates of participation.

The masquerade summer camp/workshop was held under the theme, “Push to Save our Culture”.

It ran from the 23rd of July to the 4th of August.
