Michael Morton retires after Forty Years at TDC

ZIZ News — The St. Kitts Nevis Anguilla Trading and Development Company LTD (TDC) honoured its Former Chairman Michael Morton with dinner as a way of thanking him for his service to the company.

Morton who has been with TDC since 1973 has held many positions including Sales and Marketing Director in 1983 before taking up the position of chairman.

New chairman Earl Kelly in commenting on Morton’s long years of service to TDC said it is impossible to truly show equal appreciation to Michael Morton for his contribution to TDC.

He said however that Morton was passionate about selling and good customer service and relations and perhaps made his greatest impact in TDC in the marketing department.

Morton in responding to his colleague’s kind words said he was blown away by the occasion and commended the organisers saying that their attention to details demonstrated that they’re ready to take the company even further without him.

As a token of appreciation TDC presented Mr and Mrs. Morton with a certificate for a European tour and Mr. Morton with a miniature version of a Rolls Royce.   The dinner was held at OTI.
