ZIZ News…Dec 21, 2012 — The Mighty Honesty is the new King of the Tents following a super showdown at Seventeen Degrees entertainment spot last night.
He came up against seven other competitors who he defeated by a large margin to take the title amassing a total of some 441 votes via text messages and 247 votes via the online poll on MiyVue.com.
In the first runner-up position was King Rock-A-Fella with 186 text votes and 8 online votes and second runner-up was De Unexpected with 84 text votes and 51 online votes.
The other calypsonians taking part were Lord Matt, Persuader, Lala, Little Willy and Aba Lively.
The show which is in its third year of production is organized through a collaborative effort of miyvue.com and ZIZ Radio/TV.
Guest artistes last night were Pungwa, Takeover, Godfrey, Forest, Trashrow, Shango and Paoola backed by the house band the Grand Masters.
