Minister of Social Development on Nevis Recognizes Seniors on International Day of Older Persons

Minister of Social Development on Nevis, Hon. Eric Evelyn has recognized the contributions of older persons throughout the Federation during an address to mark international Day of Older Persons on Monday October 1.

He said the sacrifices that were made by our elders, grant us the privileges that we have in this current era.

The Minister who is also responsible for seniors on Nevis used the opportunity to thank the Department of Social Services Senior Citizens Division for always providing top service to the older persons.

Minister Evelyn also added that the island of Nevis has a total of four centenarians who will also be celebrated throughout the month.

He then wished the nation all the best for Seniors Month and international Day of Older Persons.
