Minister of Sports Hon. Glen Phillip congratulates Conaree FC

Basseterre, St. Kitts — August 23rd 2013 — Having won the 2012-2013 Digicel sponsored SKNFA Premier Division Championship; Minister of Sports Hon. Glenn Phillip has extended his warmth congratulations to champions Conaree Football Club.

In a congratulatory letter penned to the President of Conaree Football Club Mr. Timothy Morton, Minister Philip wrote, ‘On behalf of the Ministry of Sports and I, we would like to offer you our warmest congratulation on being the winners of the 2012-2013 Digicel SKNFA Premier Division. This is a tremendous achievement and recognizes your commitment and hard work. Although faced with numerous difficulties over the season you have persevered due to the tremendous support received from your technical staff, players, fans and supporters and especially the Conaree community. Along with my warm congratulations, I often my very best wishes for continued success.’

Conaree Football Club won the Digicel SKNFA Division having defeated S.L.Horsford St.Pauls United 2 games in the beat of 3 playoff finals. This historic event took place at the Silver Jubilee Stadium in Bird Rock.
