Minister of Education, Hon. Shawn Richards visited the Verchild’s High School on Monday to give congratulatory remarks to the students and staff, having attained the best results for the 2018 Caribbean secondary examinations in St. Kitts.
During his presentation, he encouraged the students to show commitment to their school by becoming actively involved so that they can build a school they can be proud of.
He said, “you are here to receive an education, for no other purpose but to receive an education. Come to school, dress appropriately, Listen to the teachers and do your best.”
During the special assembly, the staff and students were introduced to newly promoted principal and deputy principal, Lonzo Wilkinson and Eisha Williams.
After receiving a token of appreciation, former principal of the school Roger Woodley used the opportunity to wish the students and staff the very best in all their future endeavours.
