Ministry of Culture teaming up with National Taiwan University of Arts to present dance performances
ZIZ News…April 25 2012 — The Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan), in cooperation with the Ministry of Community Development, Culture and Gender Affairs, is pleased to announce that a 14-member performance group from the National Taiwan University of Arts will be visiting the Federation from April 26 through May 2, 2012.
During their stay, the group is scheduled to present two performances featuring traditional and contemporary Taiwanese dances and music pieces. Arrangements for local performers including the CFBC Dance Ensemble, Creative Soles and Okolo Tegremantine Dance Theatre to interact with the visiting group have also been made. An opportunity for cultural exchange with our local groups has also been organized for Friday 27th April.
According to a release from the Ministry of Community Development, Culture and Gender Affairs, due to limited seating capacity of the two venues, invitation to the performances will be by invitation only.
The first performance is scheduled for 07:00 p.m. on Sunday April 29 evening at ECCB auditorium. The second at 07:00 p.m. on Monday April 30 evening at Nevis Performing Arts Center.
