Missing teen found

Juanita Johnson

On Monday 7 January 2013, 13 years old Juanita Patricia Johnson of Tabernacle Village was reported missing to the Police by her mother. The Special Victims Unit (SVU) of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force commenced its investigation into the matter which ended on Wednesday 9 January 2013 after an intensive search for the missing teen.

Juanita was located at Port Zante on Wednesday 9 January 2013, approximately 8:05 am, and was later placed in the custody of Corporal Lyndita Powell of the Special Victims Unit of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force. Juanita was interviewed in the presence of her mother, and later placed in the custody of her mother.

The teen was found in good health as there were no physical signs of injury, and investigation into the case is on going.
