MOE ensures Optimal Cleanliness of School Bathrooms

Basseterre, St. Kitts (SKNIS) — This week the Ministry of Education has been facilitating training sessions for janitors and cleaners from all schools with special emphasis on bathroom care to maintain a healthy and learning friendly environment.

During the sessions, held from July 14 to 16, the custodians were exposed to advanced cleaning techniques, basic maintenance activities and reporting procedures.

The activity highlighted the use of best methods and cleaning agents to sanitise bathrooms and faucet areas, as well as promoting best practices in all institutions.

The general objectives of the sessions were to provide tips for effectively cleaning the bathrooms, provide guidelines for using cleaning chemicals and impress on them the importance of safe attire in the performance of their duties.

These training sessions were held at the Cayon, Sandy Point and Beach Allen Primary School.
